Cookie Policy

1. What we use

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies. Required storage supports security, theme, session state, consent choices, and user-requested features. Optional technologies support analytics and personalized advertising only after the relevant choice, with one exception described under Analytics below: before you choose, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless consent-mode state that stores nothing on your device.

2. Categories

• Required: consent record, authentication/session cookies, security and rate limiting, theme, and user-requested local assessment state.
• Analytics: Google Analytics measurement of site use and performance. Until you grant analytics consent, the tag runs in Google’s consent mode with storage denied: it sets no cookies, stores no identifiers, and sends only aggregate, non-identifying signals that Google uses to model overall traffic totals. Cookies and full measurement begin only after analytics consent, and stop again if you withdraw it. Analytics is excluded from protected workspaces and private client documents.
• Advertising: Google AdSense and associated measurement/personalization signals. Disabled until advertising consent.

3. Current first-party storage

• cookie-consent: versioned consent categories and timestamp.
• theme: light/dark preference.
• chatbotAssessment and fromChatbot: an assessment you ask the browser to carry into a contact request.
• sidebar_state: protected-workspace interface preference.

4. Controls

Use Cookie Settings in the footer to accept, reject, or change optional categories. A recognized Global Privacy Control signal disables advertising consent. Browser controls may remove storage, but required functions may need to recreate it. Withdrawing consent does not make prior lawful processing unlawful.

5. Google consent platform

For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Google’s certified Privacy & Messaging consent platform provides required advertising vendor and purpose choices. Advertising remains unavailable unless both our category choice and applicable platform signals permit it.
